Co-Founder: Amy Boyce

Amy is a communications strategist, publicist, and storyteller currently based in Katoomba. She is the founder of ABC PR, a PR agency supporting financial services firms, corporate leaders, and purpose-driven professionals build visibility, credibility, and trust through powerful storytelling.

After more than a decade working in PR and corporate communications in Sydney, it was time for a change. Originally from the small town of Gunnedah in North West NSW Amy and her husband moved to the mountains earlier this year to build their dream house in Leura. 

However starting in a new place meant making making new connections and that’s why she co-founded Altitude Collective a space to bring thinkers, doers, and business owners together in person. To share ideas, talk shop, learn something new, and remind ourselves why we chose to do work that matters.

When she’s not running workshops or helping clients land national media, you will find Amy running, bushwalking, writing, or trying desperately to smell the roses. Amy is a strong supporter of the power of community and  believes the best ideas are sparked when smart people get in a room and share their stories.

Co-Founder: Ash Hutchison

Ash is a strategist, founder, and community builder based in Katoomba. She is the founder of AH & Co. Innovation, a boutique marketing consultancy helping purpose-driven, e-commerce and start-up organisations grow through smart marketing, CRM strategy, and digital transformation. Her work spans across NFPs, small businesses, e-commerce, healthcare and founders looking to scale sustainably and authentically.

After relocating from Sydney to the Upper Blue Mountains in 2022, Ash experienced the isolation that can come from working remotely - especially after years of collaboration, coffee catch-ups, and spontaneous office energy. She sensed she wasn’t alone, that many others had made a similar shift, trading city life for a slower pace, but missing the connection that once came easily.

That’s where the seed for Altitude Collective was planted, a space to bring like-minded business owners, founders, and leaders together to share ideas, learn from each other, and build a deeper sense of local community.

When she’s not working, Ash is usually soaking up the sun with her husband and young son - either wandering through a local market or enjoying slow Sundays on their deck. She brings that same sense of presence and purpose into everything she creates.
